I read the words aloud to him now over zoom, and ask if he'd like to use it as a prompt. Into our shared Google doc, he types back: "Sure." I ask: "What would a poem look like if it acted only as an invitation? If it could let everything in?"

I really enjoyed your poem. I guess it comes naturally for you to write about things that you adore and admire. Within all these verses you tried to describe the universe from your perspective and is amazing. If I could close my eyes and rehearse your verses from your poem, I could appreciate how much the universe offers us and how much we forget to give it back to the universe. We all know how relaxing it is just to stare at beautiful scenery whether their mountains, oceans, rivers, forests etc, Exploring the earths natural environments is definitely something we should all strive to on a regular basis. Thanks a lot for the awakening.
